Minister of State for Railway Manoj Sinha said that the railways in the next 5 years will be developed throughout the country with a budget of Rs 8.5 Lac Crore.

Minister of State for Railway Manoj Sinha said that the railways in the next 5 years will be developed throughout the country with a budget of Rs 8.5 Lac Crore.

He was attending the inauguration of the multi-functional complex built with Rs. 12 Crore at Udaipur City Station. He further added that the state has received approval of Rs. 2449 Cr of railway budget by Modi Government.

To avoid accidents at unmanned crossings, 64 over bridges will be constructed in Rajasthan. In the upcoming days, the unmanned level crossings are expected to be eradicated completely. Also, in order to ensure women’s safety, 10% posts of constable are reserved for women.

Talking about the Udaipur-Ahmedabad Broad gauge he assured the completion of the project within the next two years. There will also be commencement of few new trains in some time including Pooja Express, Haridwar Express, etc. till Udaipur.

During the ceremony, Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena gave Rs. 20 Lac from MLA quota towards construction of secondary entry at the city railway station.

Senior railway officers, Mayor and other delegates were present at the occasion.
