Udaipur witnessed a colorful procession from various areas today by groups carrying the idol of Goddess Durga on the 10^th day of Navratri. Laden with flowers and petals and packed with devotees, the procession concluded at the lake shores for the immersion.

For past 9 days of Navratri, Goddess Durga was dutifully worshipped at the grand stages, and various religious activities were conducted including the energetic Garba Dance.

The processions were started since early afternoon today with drum beats and chants of religious songs. Men, women and children plunged in gulal were seen giving their heartfelt farewell to the pious idols.
