More than 1000 people participated in marathon “Run Udaipur Run - 20130” organized today morning by Round Table India and Ladies Circle India to raise funds for a school. Common citizens, students, NGOs and several groups of people took part in the marathon.

More than 1000 people participated in marathon “Run Udaipur Run – 2013” organized today morning by Round Table India and Ladies Circle India to raise funds for a school. Common citizens, students, NGOs and several groups of people took part in the marathon.

Marathon was flagged off by Mayor Rajni Dangi and Administrative officer B.R. Bhati. Students from NCC and Indian Army Jawans from Air Force and BSF also took part in the marathon. The race started in the morning at 7 from FatehSagar Paal.

Deepak Bhansali, Chairman of Udaipur Lake City Round Table informed that the motive behind marathon was to raise funds for development of a school.

Informing about the marathon, Varun Murdia said the marathon was organized in six different categories. Participant Rajendra Vyas got First Position in C-1 category, Goverdhan stood first in C-2 Men’s category while Sunita Jat received first prize in C-3 Women’s category.

P.K Mehta was honored with 1st prize in C-4 category, whereas in C-5 category Reena Surana and Sukhbeer Singh in defense category got cash prize of Rs.11000. The second and third runner ups got Rs. 7500 and Rs.5100 respectively.

Prize distribution ceremony was conducted by Sindhu Menon of ACL, Dr. Amrinder Singh of Arth Diagnostic, Puneet Bansal of Round Table India Area-5 and Mahendra Sojatia of Sojatia Classes.
