Udaipur's Muslims to observe Ramadan from Monday
Ramadan, the month of devotion, fasting and obtaining spiritual stature will be starting from 30th June, Monday in most of places of India including Udaipur after the moon sighting.

Following the auspicious occasion, Muslim fraternities of the city gathered at open space to see the moon of Ramadan which marked beginning of the holy month.
A sense of excitement was observed in the Muslim areas of the city as Ramadan is considered to be the holiest month. The Shiite sect of Dawoodi Bohra began Ramadan from 28th June.
From Monday, Muslims will abstain themselves from worldly desires and indulge in religious and spiritual activities including fasting, reciting Quran, Taraweeh and observing breaking of fast etc.
