Umang – The Senior Citizen Welfare Committee marked its 5th Foundation Day today with series of social and cultural activities. The program was organized at Yog Seva Samiti.
Special guests of the event were Vaidya B.R. Taneja from Ludhiana, K.G Gattani, founder of Muskan Club, Industrialists B.H Bapna, Raj Lodha and Madhusudan Sukhwal. While addressing the present audience, guests emphasized on the importance of senior citizens, their social rights and problems. A cake cutting ceremony was conducted by the guests of event.
Members of the group who are aged above 75 were honored in the program including Shail Choyal, Artist, Dr. Prem Bhandari, Ghazal Singer and Pradeep Mogra, Journalist.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Sunderlal Dak and Alok Pagaria.
