Professor I.V Trivedi, Vice Chancellor of MLSU was also present on the stage.

In her thought provoking address to the guests, Margaret Alawa said that education based on high responsive moral is required in the historically analogous countries of South Asia who are struggling with the communal violence presently.

Alawa said that the only motive behind the conference is to lower the distances between all the universities of SAARC nations and to control the pressure over these universities. She said that internet is the most powerful medium to strengthen the distance education.

Giving example of World War-II rivals France and Germany who came together for development, Alawa said, “SAARC nations should also leave the competition aside and work together for prosperity and development.”

Prof. I.V Trivedi in his welcome note greeted all present guests and anticipated that the conference will be advantageous for overall development of SAARC.
