In the memory of legendary classical Urdu poet and Ghazal King, Mirza Ghalib, ‘Ghalib Day’ will be organized on Saturday 22 Dec by the Urdu Department . The program will be held at the auditorium of Social Science and Humanities, MLSU at 6 pm.

In the program, a film on the life and times of Ghalib will be shown after which Professor Prem Bhandari, Dr. Devendra Hiran and Dr. Pamil Modi will present Ghalib’s verses in their melodious voice. On the occasion, a book, ‘Ghalib in English Verse’, authored by R. C Chaufla, will be unveiled.

Chief Guest in the program will be VC MLSU, Professor I.V Trivedi, while the program will be led by Professor Sharad Shrivastav.
