The Pharmacy Faculty Development Program which was sponsored by AICTE concluded at BN Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Udaipur. It started from Sept.16 and ended on sept.28, 2013.

Principal of the Institute Dr. Chetan Singh Chauhan welcomed all the dignitaries and guests. He told that 65 participants participated in this program from various nick and corner of India.

Valedictory ceremony of this program was organized at Pharma Seminar Hall, BNIPS and the chief guest of the occasion was the Director, Faculty of Management Studies, MLSU, Udaipur Prof. P. K. Jain and the President of the program was Dr. NN Singh Rathore, MD, BN Institutions. The theme of the program was “An Approach to Develop New Tools in Field of Medicinal Chemistry”.

On this occasion Prof. Jain told about the importance of such programs for the cutting edge updating of the knowledge of the faculty. He addressed the audience and said, “If we have only lot of degrees with us and there is no practical knowledge than it is as good as garbage. So make your degrees worthwhile with skill, knowledge and attitude.”

Dr.Niranjan Narayan Singh Khod, President of the function told that there is no age of learning; one must keep updating himself with time. He congratulated all the winners of presentation and quiz competitions.

Dr. M.S. Ranawat, Principal of BN College of Pharmacy emphasized on honesty and ethics learning through such programs. He said that the basic aim of education is use it for others.

Dr. Kamal Singh Rathore, Head, Scientific Committee of this program narrated the proceedings of the fortnight and told that total 40 eminent personalities from various fields gave lectures in this FDP.

Some notable name were Prof. VK Mourya from Amarawati, Prof.M R Yadav from Vadodara, Prof. Maheep Bhatnagar from MLSU Udaipur, Dr. B P Nagoori from Jodhpur and many more.

Various winners of activities were Priya Kamble from BN Pharmacy, Kritika Daniel from Mandsaur, Nipun dashora from Geetanjali Dabok, Ms.Gunjan Jadon from Shrinath Institute of Pharmacy, Nathdwara, Sonu Sharma from NIMS, Jaipur and Amit Bhargava from BNIPS. Certificate of participation were distributed by the chief guest.
