Vanaver Caravan Danced at Hulchul Cafe
A unique weekend house-party at Hulchul Café, a part of the NGO, 'Shikshantar' in Udaipur was celebrated as friendship ambassadors of Vanaver Caravan, a U.S based music and dance group were received today at Shikshantar’s center located at Kharol Colony, Fatehpura.
A unique weekend house-party at Hulchul Café, a part of the NGO, ‘Shikshantar’ in Udaipur was celebrated as Vanaver Caravan, a U.S based music and dance group were received today at Shikshantar’s center located at Kharol Colony, Fatehpura.
Authentic Jazz Dancer, Ramona Staffeld, Famenco Dancer, Marina Lopez, program Director and Dancer, Miranda Ten Broeke and Capoliva Master, Gustavo Caldas were present at the Hulchul Café and showcased their artistic dance moves to the volunteers of Shikshantar and the other guests.
In association with, Big Medicine Charitable Trust, Vanaver Caravan will also attend various not-to-profit events while journeying through Udaipur.
While performing the distinctive dances, the group also educated the audience about the Vanaver Caravan and the moral values of dance and global culture.
Shikshantar founder, Manish Jain informed that it was a casual dance evening and Varavan Caravan Friendship Ambassadors are going to perform their first formal show at St.Mary’s School on January 27, 2012.
Vanaver Caravan is named after its founders Livia Drapkin Vanaver and Bill Vanaver. Livia was a dancer while Bill was a musician. Together they traveled across the world and learned new music and traditional dance forms.
The group later expanded and are now known as ‘Vanavers’. They are well known for their mission of spreading peace and harmony in the world. The group later collaborated with the Friendship Ambassador Foundation.
