Rajasthan was formally outlined on the political map of India on 30th March 1949. Today, several activities were organized by Udaipur’s district administration and other organizations to celebrate 63 years of establishment of the state.

Rajasthan was formally outlined on the political map of India on 30th March 1949. Today, several activities were organized by Udaipur’s district administration and other organizations to celebrate 63 years of establishment of the state.

Week long photo and poster exhibition, showcasing growth and development since the inception of Rajasthan as a State, concluded today at Information Center. The exhibition also showcased the development of the district and state by Ayurveda Department, Agricultural Department and Communications Department.

Along with this, District Administration and Tourism Department organized a drawing competition on the topic ‘Rajasthan’s Cultural Heritage’ at Fateh Memorial in which students from various schools participated.

A meeting was conducted at Congress Media Center, Dhanmandi where Media Center President Pankaj Kumar Sharma said, “Earlier, Rajasthan was called an undeveloped state, but the people have worked hard and led the state to the new heights of development.”

A discussion was also organized at Mohan Singh Mehta Memorial Trust in which participants raised concerns about the social ill practices which are prevalent in many areas of Rajasthan. They also discussed various issues faced by people living in various districts of the state.
