On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day observed on 31^st May every year Udaipur nursing students carried out a procession earlier this morning; whereas an awareness exhibition against use of tobacco was organized at Geetanjali Hospital.

The rally carried out by nursing students of Udaipur under the banner of District Authorization of Legal Service started from Chetak Circle and concluded in RNT Medical College; all through the rally participants spread the message of quit smoking and other tobacco products.

On the other hand, in Geetanjali Hospital an exhibition replicating ill effects of tobacco was organized wherein photographs and banners displaying the diseases caused by consumption of tobacco were showcased.

The day also proved lucky for Rajasthan as the State received two out of five awards from WHO Director General, for controlling consumption of tobacco across State and successful enforcement of anti-tobacco rules.
