On the occasion of World Environment Day on 5^th June, various programs will be held by District Environment Committee under the theme ‘Seven Billion Dreams, One Planet, Custom with Care.’

At Gulab Bagh from 7 AM to 9 AM, an essay writing competition will be organized in two categories- junior for classes 6^th to 8^th and senior for classes 9^th and 12^th. The participants will be provided with paper sheet and glue. The rest of the stationery items will have to be brought by the participants.

On the same day at Fateh Sagar Paal (near over flow gate), distribution of plants will be done from 6 PM to 8 PM. The environment committee has appealed all the citizens, students and nature lovers to be a part of this program.
