Vidyapeeth hosts Seminar on Maharana Pratap and Mewar
On the occasion of 474th Birth Anniversary of Maharana Pratap, a seminar focusing on Maharana Pratap and history of Mewar was held at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth today. The subject of the seminar was ‘Mewar in 16th Century’.
On the occasion of 474th Birth Anniversary of Maharana Pratap, a seminar focusing on Maharana Pratap and history of Mewar was held at Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth today. The subject of the seminar was ‘Mewar in 16th Century’.
Many renowned historians took part in the event and shared their views. The chief guest of the event was Prof. S.S. Sarangdewot, vice chancellor of Vidyapeeth, keynote speaker Dr. Raj Shekhar Vyas and Prof. K.S Gupta historian and ex dean of Arts College MLSU.
While expressing his view, Dr. Raj Shekhar Vyas emphasized on cultural changes in Hindu Art and Painting in 16th Century while Prof. K.S Gupta described Mughal Mewar resistance and rise of the local leaders as a powerful and an important historical event.
