The West Zone Cultural Center organizes Rangshala at Shilpgram’s Darpan Auditorium on the first Sunday of every month and this time, eminent theater artist Vijay Tendulkar’s ‘Jaat hi Pucho Sadhu Ki’ play will be staged on 5th July at 7 Pm onward.

Center’s Director Furkan Khan described the play as a satire on the system where an individual loses his right to speech and lives ultimately resorting to Nepotism, which he believes is the best weapon available today.

The play written by Vijay Tendulkar projects a satire on the inherent equality, brotherhood and independence that encapsulates the Constitution of India and also tries to project the various social and political systems prevailing in the country.

Theater world’s stalwart Vijay Tendulkar has written some memorable plays such as ‘Shantataha: Court Chalu Ahe,’ ‘Sakharam Binder,’ ‘Ghasiram Kotwal’ and many others that has shaped the modern theater. The play is directed by Sabir Khan who is famous artist of Rajasthan. The entry to this play will be free.
