A Women Cell has been inaugurated today at Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies. The cell is formed under the guidance of Vishakha Guidelines of Supreme Court.

The cell was inaugurated by Shweta Fagaria, ADM & Additional Director of Women and Child Development. While addressing, Fagaria said that “women have come through a long journey from being a house wife to a working lady, and still she has to walk more to make honest society for women, we play an important role to make a strong and moral high society”.

Geeta Agarwal (Patron of Women Cell), Kanika Agarwal and Shruti Agarwal of Advisory Committee also shared their views and said that the motive of cell is to aware women against sexual abuse and violence.

Committee members Dr Ridhima Khamesra, Dr Radha Choudhary, Dr Gunjan Arora and Anjali Dhabhai informed about women empowerment and sports services available in campus.
