A two day workshop on Concrete Mix Design concluded today at Vidya Bhawan Polytechnic College.

The workshop included informative speech by Rahul Mathur, cement specialist from Ambuja Cement. While addressing the civil engineers, Mathur explained the importance of concrete and how to prepare it with correct method.

“The strength and life of construction depends on the quality of concrete. It is not just a simple mixture of several minerals but is an engineering substance and should be prepared scientifically and technologically,” he said.

Workshop was also addressed by Jaykant Dave, HoD, Chandresh Arora, Principal and Girish Mathur Vaishnav.
