Workshop on Direct Cash Transfer Concludes

In the process of bringing awareness and effective implementation of the direct cash transfer scheme initiated by the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, the congress committee of Udaipur today organized a workshop at RMV conference Hall.

The workshop was presided by District President Lal Singh Jhala, while Regional Secretary R. R. Tiwari was the chief guest; MLA Raghuveer Meena, Madhu Mehta, Basanti Meena, Kishan Trivedi and Shyamlal Chaudhary were the guests of honor.

Representatives present in the workshop told the benefits of the scheme and also described the problems they are facing in the rural areas.

MLA Raghuveer Singh Meena, while addressing the media said, “Ruling party jointly with the organization will bring out the solution to the problem”.

“It is a big step in order to eradicate the corruption”, said Lal Singh Jhala and mentioned that the program leverages authenticity of Aadhar numbers and correspondingly linked banking network across the country, so that direct transfer of cash subsidy, refunds and other government scheme payments is eased for both, the beneficiaries as well as the government.

While addressing the reporters, R. R. Tiwari appealed to the workers and volunteers to participate in large numbers in the rally to be held in Jaipur on 28 Dec and also reassured the participants that their grievances will be delivered and raised before the organization as well as the Chief Minister.
