WZCC Shilpgram Utsav 2012: The Cultural extravaganza Concludes

The 10 day extravaganza of WZCC Shilpgram Utsav 2012 concluded today with a vibrant show. Chief Guest on the concluding ceremony was Cultural Minister, Chandresh Kumari Katoch, who seemed amazed by the beautiful performances and variety of products in the shops. The performances presented during past 10 days kept the Shilpgram’s stage, ‘Kalangan’, jam packed.

WZCC Shilpgram Utsav 2012: The Cultural extravaganza Concludes

The 10 day extravaganza of WZCC Shilpgram Utsav 2012 concluded today with a vibrant show. Chief Guest on the concluding ceremony was Cultural Minister, Chandresh Kumari Katoch, who seemed amazed by the beautiful performances and variety of products in the shops. The performances presented during past 10 days kept the Shilpgram’s stage, ‘Kalangan’, jam packed.

On the concluding day today, President of WZCC, Shailendra Dashora, said that he is grateful to the administration, Police Department, Udaipur Municipal Council, Health Department, Ajmer Electricity Board, SBBJ etc for their help in conducting a successful Shilpgram festival.

The WZCC Shilpgram Utsav 2012, which started from 21 ^st Dec. 2012 and stretched till today in its span of 10 days, left every visitor with a delight to savor for long time. Performers from every corner of India presented their art forms at Shilpgram 2012 based on their culture and tradition. It was a savoring dose of music, dance and entertainment for Udaipurites.

Shilpgram 2012 stood up to the expectations and delivered even more, as this time, a huge crowd was seen during each and every performance. The traders were also not disappointed as people did enough shopping.

The last day of Shilpgram 2012 was marked by performances, including Maangniyar gayak (Rajasthan), Nati (Himachal Pradesh), Bhapang (Rajasthan), Lambadi (Andhra Pradesh), Pung dhol cholom (Manipur), Bhaand Mirasi (Punjab), Jhankar (samvet sangeet prastuti), Hasyamel (Maharashtra), Dekhni (Goa), Bihu (Assam), Kalbeliya (Rajasthan), Bhaand Mirasi (Punjab), Bhaand Mirasi (Punjab), Mayur dance (Uttar Pradesh), Hasyamel (Maharashtra), Chadhaiya (Orissa) and Siddi Dhamaal (Gujarat).
