WZCC’s classical event ‘Malhar’ to organize on 22nd-23rd Aug
West Zone Cultural Center is going to organize ‘Malhar’ on 22nd and 23rd August at Shilpgram’s Darpan Auditorium in which performance of classical music, instruments, Kathak and Bharatnatyam will enthrall the audience.
West Zone Cultural Center is going to organize ‘Malhar’ on 22nd and 23rd August at Shilpgram’s Darpan Auditorium in which performance of classical music, instruments, Kathak and Bharatnatyam will enthrall the audience.
The highlight of the show is going to be Kathak performance by Rajendra Gangani and Manjari Kiran.
Center Head Furqan Khan informed that the two-day festival will be inaugurated by Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria and Divisional Commissioner Bhavani Singh Detha will be the special guest. The chief guest of the other day will be RSMM’s MD Bhanu Prakash Eturu.
He further added that ‘Malhar’ is an Indian classical symphony which is sung to depict monsoon. The main aim to organize the event is to attach people with the classical music and culture.
The artists from Directorate of Art & Culture (Goa), Sangeet Natak Academy (New Delhi) and Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Academy (Jodhpur) will also be presented in this classical event.
