Dhara Kothari’s ‘Sparsh’ Brings Vibrant Floral Art to Udaipur

Udaipur, Nov 22, 2025 - Sparsh, an exhibition of paintings by Dhara Kothari, was inaugurated at Bagore Ki Haveli, Udaipur, on Friday. The exhibition showcases colourful floral paintings created with water-soluble pencil colours by Kothari, a rising artist from Surendranagar, Gujarat.

Present at the opening were Udaipur’s renowned artist Harsh Chhajed, Durgesh Chandwani, Assistant Director (Finance & Accounts) of the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, Programme Executive Hemant Mehta, well-known sculpture artist Hemant Joshi, popular architect and sketch artist Sunil Laddha, traveller and influencer Sandeep Rathore and mentor and celebrated Gujarat-based artist Tarun Kothari, who has been honoured by the India Book of World Records.

The exhibition was inaugurated without any lighting of the lamps or cutting ribbons but instead with watering of plants thereby symbolising the importance of  protecting Nature.

Sparsh will be open to the public till Sunday, November 23, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. The exhibition is financially supported by the Gujarat State Arts Academy.
