Udaipur, Feb 24, 2026 - On the fourth day of the Amrita Haat in Udaipur, several programmes were held highlighting women empowerment, safety and social awareness. A grand bike rally was conducted under the joint aegis of the Nirbhaya Commando team and the Police Department.
The rally commenced from Amrita Haat and passed through Delhi Gate, Bapu Bazaar, Jagdish Chowk, Hathipole and Gulab Bagh before returning to its starting point. Throughout the route, slogans such as “Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter,” “Stop Child Marriage,” and “Say No to Violence Against Women” resonated across the city.
Presence of international rifle shooter Palak Gurjar added special significance to the rally. Gurjar encouraged young girls to focus on self-defence, education and sports. She said that daughters are making the nation proud in every field and deserve equal opportunities in society.

With the support of Harihar Trust and Shashwat Trust, a health camp was organised for women from Self-Help Groups (SHG) and other female visitors. Experts raised awareness about anaemia prevention, nutritious diets and the importance of regular health check-ups.
Under the Amrita Premium League, an exciting cricket match was played between Meera Girls College and the Women Empowerment Team which the former won.
