'Floating World' by Shanker Kumawat at Takhman Gallery, Udaipur
Inaugurated by KK Gupta with distinguished guests including Prof. Suresh Sharma and Ashok Bohra; exhibition runs until November 15 at Takhaman Art Gallery, Udaipur
Udaipur, Nov 10, 2025 – An exhibition of paintings by artist Shanker Kumawat’s exhibition - Floating World – was inaugurated on Sunday, November 9, at 5:30 pm by Chief Guest KK Gupta at Takhman Art Gallery, Udaipur. The exhibition features his “magical work” in miniature art style.
Guests present at the opening included artists Prof. Suresh Sharma, Ashok Bohra, Waswo X Waswo, Lalit Sharma, CP Chaudhary, RK Sharma, Raghunath Sharma, Naseem Ahmed, Dinesh Upadhyay, Chirag Kumawat, Pushpa Kumawat and other art enthusiasts.
Gupta, who is coordinator, Swach Bharat Mission Rural Rajasthan, described Kumawat’s artistry as extraordinary. Kumawat’s paintings take viewers into his imaginative and soulful creations which have been crafted in a delicate miniature style, highlighting the extraordinary connection between the earth, sky and the universe.
The exhibition will continue until November 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm daily.
