Colours, Lights and Vibes: Flower Show Returns to Fateh Sagar
Flowers will bloom with night-time illumination and creative designs at Fateh Sagar from December 24 to January 4
Udaipur, Dec 16, 2025 – Like every year, this year too, Udaipur will host its ever-popular annual Flower Show on Fateh Sagar boulevard from December 24 to January 4. This year, however, the show comes with a special highlight - night-time illumination. The area will be adorned with special illumination allowing the flowers to display a distinct charm even in the evening hours.
A review meeting regarding the preparations for the event was held on Monday (December 15) at the District Collectorate auditorium. During the meeting, Udaipur District Collector Namit Mehta instructed all concerned departments and institutions to work in coordination to make the event unique, attractive, organised and successful.
The Collector informed that this year the Flower Show will attract residents and tourists through new and unique flower varieties, innovative designs and creative concepts. Special floral structures, theme-based decorations, and artistic installations will be the key identity of the show. Other attractions will include selfie points, photo points and other attractive installations.
Through the Flower Show, messages of environmental conservation, a clean cityand green thinking will also be conveyed.
During the meeting, Collector Mehta directed that arrangements should be ensured keeping in mind the expected heavy footfall of tourists and the general public, similar to Shilpgram. Special attention should be given to entry management, security, cleanliness, lighting and parking.
Representatives from Hindustan Zinc Limited, Wonder Cement, Mirage Group, Secure Meters, Archgate and other institutions and companies shared details of their proposed floral designs and concepts. The Collector instructed them to include unique and rare flower species to enhance the attraction further.
On this occasion, Udaipur District Authority (UDA) Commissioner Rahul Jain, Trainee IAS and Assistant Collector Srishti Dabas, RIICO AGM Ajay Pandya, along with representatives from various institutions and companies were present.
