A painting exhibition called 'Fusion' displaying the works of artist Hansa Niyati was inaugurated at Bagore ki Haveli on 12th December. The art work encompassing 'Traditional Indian Folk Arts and Artifacts' will be showcased till 21st December at the venue.

A painting exhibition called ‘Fusion’ displaying the works of artist Hansa Niyati was inaugurated at Bagore ki Haveli on 12th December. The art work encompassing ‘Traditional Indian Folk Arts and Artifacts’ will be showcased till 21st December at the venue.

The Chief Guest at the inauguration was Prof I.V Trivedi, Vice Chancellor of MLSU. Other special guests were Dr. G.M Mehta, former Dean of Arts College, MLSU and Bhanwar Seth, President of Rajasthan Pensioner’s Society.

In the exhibition, the artist displayed 3D artifacts using the amalgamation of certain elements from different art schools like Warli, Dhokra art and Rajasthani Folk, hence the title ‘Fusion.’ Her work depicts the simplicity and joyousness of various folk arts of India. All her work are created by using natural materials.

Hansa Niyati had the privilege to host her solo shows in some of the prestigious art galleries of India including India Habitat Center, Triveni Kala Sangam and All Indian Fine Arts & Crafts Society at New Delhi.

The exhibition displays 20-25 number of 3D artifacts and 5-6 paintings based on the concept ‘Fusion.’
