Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal is organising an exhibition cum sale of craft and handicraft items from Feb 22 to Mar 1. The exhibition will showcase work of artisans from all across the country.

Goverdhan Samar, Additional Director of Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal, said that the exhibition cum sale is being organised to mark the foundation day of the institution. He said that the exhibition cum sale will start from 9 am in the morning and will continue till the late evening performances at Lok Kala Mandal.

Readers may note that a lot of cultural performances will also be organised during this duration for entertainment of audience and for increasing awareness of traditional art forms.

Samar said that last year also exhibition had seen a lot of sale of items and he expects an even better response this year. This, he said, goes a long way in helping the artisans who come from all over the country in financial form.
