Gulab Chand Kataria to Open Flower Exhibition in Udaipur on Dec 24
Udaipur administration and UDA to host a grand flower exhibition at Fateh Sagar from Dec 24 to Jan 4 with floral domes and themed displays
Udaipur, December 23, 2025 - Like every year, this year too, the district administration and the Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) are organising a grand flower exhibition on the banks of Fateh Sagar from December 24 to January 4. Udaipur District Collector Namit Mehta said the flower exhibition will be inaugurated on Wednesday, December 24, at 4:00 pm by Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria.
UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain informed that major industrial institutions of Udaipur like Hindustan Zinc Ltd., Wonder Cement, Mirage Group, GBH American Hospital, Mankind Pharma, Tempsense & Pyrotech, Ravindra Heras Pvt. Ltd., Mewar Polytex Group, Secure Meters, Garden Corner & Botanical Cafe, Aravali Group, Fusion Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Iraj Evolution Design Company Pvt. Ltd., Wooden Street, Econ Industry, Blue Phosphate, RK Event will participate in the event along with the Horticulture Department (PWD) and the Udaipur Nagar Nigam.
Jain said that on display will be plants of various species like Poinsettia, Guldawadi, Grafted Cacti (Foreign), Petunia, Dianthus, Pansy, Small Roses, Lily, Anthurium, Succulent, Ornamental Cabbage, Impatiens, Gerbera, Hybrid Hibiscus, Bonsai, etc. The main attractions will be a dome of floral decoration, a display of butterfly, peacock, deer and other animal themes and a selfie point. Additionally, attractive colourful lighting will be installed on Fateh Sagar and there will also be an open stage where artists will perform.
