The khadi mela is beginning today in Subsidy centre at Reti Stand. The mela will continue until 9^th October. Today is Gandhi jayanti and as always, the khadi department is organising a discount mela. Upto 50 percent discount is available on khadi, silk, woollen and cotton clothes and clothing materials. Discount upto 25 percent is also available on Rajasthan handloom products. The mela will have Barmer print bed-sheets, Kota sarees, salwar suits, pickles, mehendi (henna), Udaipur’s famous wooden toys and herbal products on reasonable prices.
