Decades Old Royal Musical Instruments’ exhibition ‘Symphony of Mewar, A Royal Collection of Musical Instruments’ is put on display at the Zanana Mahal of the City Palace Museum. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ahmedabad Income Tax Commissioner Roli Agarwal.

23 Royal Musical Instruments are set on display at the Music Gallery.

Organized by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation, the exhibition is just another step forward to preserve the living heritage.

In the inauguration ceremony held on Monday evening, Dr. Poonam Joshi, Music Teacher at Meera Girls’ College presented Sitar Vadan. Students of Maharana Mewar Public School also showcased their musical talent by playing orchestra.

Shreeji Arvind Singh Mewar, patron and founding trustee of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation said,” various commercial and non commercial sectors of Mewar are trying to preserve the heritage; the foundation of Music Gallery at City Palace is connected to the same project of preserving our heritage.”
