‘Poetry in Colors’: Six-Day Art Exhibition Begins in Udaipur

Rangoday brings together top artists from across India; local artists include Chetan Audichya and Dr Chitrasen

Udaipur, July 12, 2025 – Rangoday, an art exhibition organised by the Artists Council of India, began on Friday July 11 at Takhaman-28 Gallery. Held under the theme Poetry in Colors, the six-day exhibition will run until July 16 and is open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm for art enthusiasts.

The Chief Guest at the opening of the exhibition was Shraddha Murdia, founder of the Kashti Foundation, who praised the artists and emphasised that such artistic events should continue regularly. She extended a warm welcome to all artists on behalf of the city of Udaipur.

The event was chaired by Prof. Suresh Sharma, Chairman of Takhaman-28. Distinguished guests included Sandeep Paliwal and Lalit Sharma.

The exhibition features artworks of renowned artists from across the country including Ajit Verma, Dr Bharat Bhushan, Dr Chandrashekhar Kale, Dr Suryasnata Mohanty, Dr Sudarshan Pal Singh, Manoj Panwar, Renu Sangwan, Shailendra Singh, Sumitra Ahlawat and Vinita Sharma. Additionally, paintings by Chetan Audichya and Dr Chitrasen from Udaipur are also on display.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr Kale, who is president of the Artists Council of India, said that Udaipur is a city of art, and hosting an exhibition with works from artists across the country is a matter of pride.

 The opening ceremony saw participation from numerous local artists and art lovers.
