The 10-day wood sculpture workshop organized by West Zone Cultural Centre concluded at Shilpgram followed by exhibition of the artistic pieces made by sculptors.

To promote wooden art and sculpture, this workshop was organized that taught intricacies and technicalities involved in creating wooden art forms. Various sculptors presented distinct art where Nemaram showcased beautiful car, Priti Kahar carved royal chair.

A beautiful sculpture made by Harshad Panchal of a peacock overlooking monsoon grabbed most attention in the gallery.  Other artists including Alay Mistri, Ranjeet Asarsa, Sachin Chaudhary, Rudra Thakur, Hardik Kansara and Vijay D. Kadam displayed their art work.

Senior painter Prof. Suresh Sharma said that this is for the first time where wood sculpture workshop was organized; the created art forms which will be part of ‘Modern Heritage.
