Leftover food from Annapurna Rasoi was found dumped in a canal on Friday. Annapurna Rasoi was started with the aim to provide food to the needy at the cheapest possible rates. It was also started keeping in mind the busy schedules of single working people, old and helpless, students, auto drivers and labour class.

On Friday, someone spotted a huge quantity of leftover food in canal a little ahead of Chikalwas on Badgaon-Kavita road.  UIT Chairman Ravindra Shrimali was informed who took immediate action. When Lake Patrol team of UIT reached the spot with team incharge Devendra Saini, it was discovered that the leftover food belonged to Annapurna Rasoi. The Annapurna Rasoi contractor was called for and warned.

When the team checked the leftover food initially, they found that it was not thrown by any Vatika organiser since there were no disposable glasses along with the plates. Bills of Annapurna Rasoi were also found at the site. Contractor has been warned not to dispose leftover food in public places.

Annapurna Rasoi has been appreciated by the labour class, auto drivers, students and a number of bachelors and others who are forced to live alone due to professional requirements. Since the cost of food is more than affordable, all the aforesaid people found it to be most convenient. It provides breakfast, lunch and dinner at extremely low cost.
