Sukher police has seized duplicate ghee from a godown in Chitrakoot nagar in Bhuwana. Duplicate ghee was stocked in a godown in Ramnagar kachchi basti. 3062 kilo of ghee was seized on Monday night. The estimated cost of this duplicate ghee is 15 lakh rupees.

Sukher police came to know about this huge stock of duplicate ghee through an informer. This godown located in front of a scrap godown belongs to Kirti Kumar Chittora s/o Prakash Chandra resident of Heera Bagh Colony. Kirti Kumar has been arrested under Section 420, 272.

The investigating officer said that the police team seized tins of 1 litre, small packs of 500 ml each and 18 tins of 15 litres each from the godown. It has been stated that duplicate ghee is made in Haryana and sent to Udaipur in trucks. Then it is unloaded in the godown and delivered by means of loading tempos or pick-up vans. All the seized cartons and tins of ghee have been seized and sent to Sukher police station.

Kirti Kumar used to supply this duplicate ghee in wedding programs, events and even for lunches and dinners in various places. He used to sell this duplicate ghee to catering contractors as well. Stocks were also being delivered to Mavli, Gogunda, Kherwara, Fatehnagar and Salumber.
