Another food zone is coming up to enthrall the food lover public of Udaipur. The tender process for this food zone is in its final stage.

A food zone is going to be made alongside Swaroop Sagar to provide eating access to public and tourists. This is being done so that people can enjoy eating while enjoying site-seeing. As per sources, 6 attractive kiosks will be installed alongside Swaroop Sagar. Sitting arrangements will also be made for public. What is important is that a 30 feet cantilever will be developed and the chowpati or the food zone will be made here. It would appear as if the food zone is hanging above the lake.

Earlier it was proposed that pillars be erected inside Swaroop Sagar and kiosks be developed on them, but water resource department did not approve this proposal. Now that final decision has been taken regarding cantilever, a food zone will be developed as soon as the tender process is finalised.
