It’s our very own Pakoras which I believe most of us must have savored many a times while sipping a hot cup of tea over endless chit-chat sessions. Today’s youth have loads of things on their mind besides studies. It’s a never ending race of winning and reaching out to things that were a dream till yester years.

The Yuva of Udaipur too is a part of this race. 6-8 hours of academics followed by difficult subject tuitions, singing & dancing classes, swimming classes, gym and the list goes on.

While these youngsters are doing everything that will make their future shine, lack of time often leads to inadequate intake of food and ultimately results in bad health. In order to grab a quick bite, they habitually end up eating at a roadside food joint which is neither nutritious nor hygienic.

Follow this easy-to-prepare recipe and give yourself a treat any time!

Ingredients:

8 slices of bread

1 cup processed cheese

½ cup ketchup

¾ gram flour (besan)

Salt to taste

¼ green onions

¼ carom seed (ajwain)

¼ baking soda

¼ teaspoon red chili

¼ teaspoon turmeric powder

Oil

½ cup Boiled potato

Preparation:

Stept1: Take a bowl add cheese, green onions, green chilies, boiled potatoes chop it finely and keep it aside.

Step2: In bowl take gram flour, salt, red chili powder, baking soda, carom seed and turmeric powder mix it well by adding water to it. (Prepare a thick batter)

Step3: In a frying pan toast both the sides of bread slices. Take 2 slices of bread put tomato ketchup and add the masala prepared earlier in between the slices and make a sandwich. Now cut the sandwich in diagonal shape.

Step4: Dip these sandwiches in the batter and deep fry it until golden brown.

Step5: Serve it hot with ketchup or chutney.
