Udaipur Learning City UnConference is a one of its kind initiative that aims to get closer to a beautiful world for all of us. The second season of the UnConference is taking place today at the Vidya Bhawan auditorium from 11am onwards and will continue with multiple activities throughout the day.

Udaipur Learning City UnConference is a one of its kind initiative that aims to get closer to a beautiful world for all of us. The second season of the UnConference is taking place today at the Vidya Bhawan auditorium from 11am onwards and will continue with multiple activities throughout the day.

11-11:30 am: welcome session
11:30-1 pm: workshop session
2:30-4 pm: world cafe
4-5:30 pm: workshop session
6-7:30 pm: closing ceremony
Interactive Stalls will be a part of the program all through the day, from 11 am till 6:30 pm.
Harsh Mittal, the organiser of the UnConference said that this initiative has been possible with the joint association of a few like minded institutions viz. Shikshantar, Sukoon, Swaraj University, Banyan Roots, Millets of Mewar, Pukar, Natyansh Society, Sankalp, Eco Hut, Flying Foxes, Bindaas Community Media and Verve School.

He added that this Sunday UnConference event will envision a environment where there is a continuous thirst for learning, where each participant is both a teacher as well as a student, a society where each one is a contributing builder, an environment of learning where there is a congruence of heart, mind and labour.

There will be alternative educators, organic farmers, artists, artisans, activists, designers, ecologists and nature lovers, filmmakers, healers, social entrepreneurs, homeschoolers, unschoolers, barefoot innovators, grandparents, youth, spiritual seekers, and more. As with all the learning city unConferences welcomes families, youth and children. The UnConference hopes to build upon the reflection, dialogue and co-motion that have been initiated in the Learning City network already. There will be a lot of space in the UnConference to explore radical ideas, proposals and projects.
