When winter knocks the door, coffee is considered to be the best acquaintance to ease your stress and it also gives soothing warmth. However, there are many places in Udaipur where one can enjoy a pleasing cup of coffee but coffee at recently opened Coffee & Gup-Shup is much preferred for the exciting services they offer.

However, Coffee & Gup Shup located at University Road is not a part of any giant coffee shop chain nor they have a big space to accompany hundreds of guests at one time, but the interior is very well decorated that gives cozy feeling which is enough to generate a lot of positive energy while you enjoy your cup.

Started on Oct 6, 2011 Coffee & Gup Shup is working on its own concept regarding serving and entertaining their customers, who are mostly youth.

Abhinav Tank (in photo above), the owner of Coffee & Gup-Shup informed us, “The concept behind Coffee Gup-Shup is directly connected with my dreams of life. I wanted to do several things in life so I settled with this venture where all my dreams are coming true.”

About the name of the café, Abhinav said, “As chit-chat is common in every student’s group, Coffee and  Gup-Shup is specially meant for the students so that they can have a great time enjoying our special menu.”

They don’t have tens of eateries to offer yet their small menu attracts youth too much, serving some never heard dishes like Coleslaw, a sandwich with mayonnaise and Coco-Chico a type of coffee with other 4-5 varieties of hot and cold coffees and Milk Shakes along with Pizzas, Pastas, Sandwiches, Soup and Maggi noodles etc.

The Malaysian handmade chocolates are center of attraction here and besides its regular menu it also has a collection of beautifully crafted assorted handmade greeting cards and a few gift items like a Harley Davidson pen and other accessories.

Coffee & Gup-Shup has highly decorated wall with amazing graphical posters of different types of coffee.

Abhinav claims that his coffees are of similar qualities one can get in any other ‘big’ cafe of the town but the rates are highly unmatchable, “We serve coffee with price ranging from Rs.15 to Rs.65 and I am sure it is an incomparable price tag.”

While all other food and drinks are quiet affordable for students, as that’s what Coffee and Gup-Shup is all about.

It is a small world of all the pleasant gup-shup and at the same time it is a big world for hearty friends.
