Being a hardcore non-vegetarian I chose to taste the avadhi Shami Kebab from Uttar Pradesh counter and Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani at Andhra Pradesh Counter. It was simply awesome!

Thanks to Mr. S. Raghuvendra for giving me a treat of chicken biryani and appetizing coconut gravy.

If you are vegetarian than Delhi’s gol gappas and Haryana’s big-thick parathas will make you feel fantastic.

West Bengal’s Fish Chop and Chicken rolls are ruling non-vegetarians tummy while Chattisgarh’s Chilla and Paklu Bada and Bihar’s Litti Chowku is making vegetarians feel great.

If you are fond of sweet dishes than try out Hyderabad’s Double ka Meetha and Bhilwara’s gond-ke-laddoo.

Gud ka Halwa and Firni at Punjab’s counter.

How can I forget Himachal’s Rajma Chawal and Kadi. Though I didn’t taste but it looked delightful.

Here are few tips for you if you are planning to visit Food Festival at Shilpgram

1. Make yourself extremely hungry before going there.

2. Take extra hand napkins ( they all have very thin and low quality one)

3. Visit after 2 pm. They don’t get ready to serve until 1pm

4. Buy less or go in a group to enjoy more dishes. It’s better than ordering one and feel full.

5. There is a different area for veg and non-veg food counters, so be little alert if you have phobia with non-veg items.

6. Carry a bag if you want to take a parcel.

7. Some dishes are too costly and some are very affordable, take care of your expenses.

Enjoy the FEAST!
