All the foodies in Udaipur now have a grand opportunity to explore cuisines of southern parts of India as Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace, in the ongoing Master Chef Food Festival, will be serving authentic South Indian delicacies by Master Chef V. Shrinivasan.

Chef V Shrinivasan, while preparing the fish curry, said that these recipes directly come from his grandmother’s kitchen. He demonstrated preparing a few dishes.

The flavor, color and aroma of various spices and the taste of the enticing resultant dishes took us to the coastal areas of southern part of our nation.

Bhaskaran T, Manager of Laxmi Vilas Palace Udaipur said that they plan to bring diverse cuisines from various parts of the country to Udaipur by organizing such food festivals.

“We recently organized Chinese Food Festival and served various Chinese dishes. Amongst them Deep Fried Ice-crème was the most liked item”, he added.

Udaipur has a very few restaurants which serve south Indian cuisines, and even they serve a limited variety. This is a great opportunity for the localities to give their taste buds a Masaledar heady experience in the 100 year old palace hotel.
