The Sankalp Group, a well-known food has opened their 101st branch, North Indian Food- Saffron Restaurant at Udaipur today.

The Sankalp Group, a well-known food has opened their 101st branch, North Indian Food- Saffron Restaurant at Udaipur today.

Located near Sukhadia Circle, opposite the Gold Coast Apartment, Saffron was inaugurated by Shantilal Mehta, one of the senior members of the Sankalp family.

The restaurant has its other branches in many parts of India apart from international presence in the USA, Canada and also in the United Kingdom. Saffron is the 11th in the realm, whereas other venture includes Sankalp – South Indian Cuisine and Uncle Sam Pizza.

According to Jolly Christian, General Manager, Saffron and Praveen Shankar Shrivastav, Director, Saffron Udaipur, the restaurant will serve North Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines.

On the very first day of the opening, the restaurant launched their tempting offer of Rs. 169/- a meal, where one can have unlimited food by ordering any item in menu. Jolly Christian said, “May it be a Starter or the Main Course, just enjoy whatever you like with unlimited quantity. We don’t believe in the policy of limited Starters or limited Main Course, when you are here to refresh your taste buds”.

Customers can also do their own barbeque. “The barbeque would be placed on your table, where you can grill it according to your like viz. crispy or smooth blending taste”, said Jolly.

When asked how they maintain the quality of food, Praveen Shrivastav said, “We maintain a universal standard in all our branches regarding the taste. Our primary food source is produced in-house and then distributed to all our food joints; the rest is to be assembled at the restaurants”.

Pointing out the unique selling point as the Barbeque, he said, “Barbeque is mostly comprehended as non-veg, but we reformed the term Authentic Vegetarian Barbeque and hope Udaipurites will love it.
