What is an outing without a good munching? It is food everywhere. Coming soon in Gulab Bagh is the Masala Chowk similar to Jaipur’s Ram Niwas Bagh.

Municipal Corporation has invited tenders for Masala Chowk in Gulab Bagh. The idea is to provide a variety of delicacies to local public as well as tourists on their visit to this garden of roses. People will get to eat in natural surroundings at Gulab Bagh. A piece of land is lying vacant near the old booking house of Aravali Express toy train. It is being planned that a kiosk will be made on this land and the food court will then be developed. The estimated budget for civil work is 1 crore 71 lakh rupees. The area will be developed as a food court where local delicacies will also be available.

It may be noted that work for Bird Park is going on in Gulab Bagh which is likely to be completed soon. Tender process has already begun for the new train for children and pedal boats in Lotus pond. The addition of food court is sure to attract more tourists to this garden which was built during the royal reign and is one of the most important attractions of Udaipur city.
