Street food is yet another craze among people and the craving grows with change in season. To add to the many food zones of the city, Khau Gali Bazaar has recently come up at Sukhadia Circle and it is sure to set your taste buds on fire.

Khau Gali Bazaar is creating enough aromas through 16 stalls. The basic points of magnetism are the interesting names of the stalls. In fact, the names have even attracted tourists to a great extent. Whether it is tea, or it is routine snacks, or South Indian delights… each stall has a fantastic name and splendid taste to serve to your hunger pangs.

There is a stall that has a variety of every Indian’s favourite samosa and it is named Mai Samosa tu Alu (मैं समोसा तू आलू), cake stall is named as Tera Mera Cake (तेरा मेरा केक). There are stalls which provide variety of Naans. Another attraction is the Tandoori Chai.

Tandoori Chai comes to enlighten your tea love with an extremely different taste. The tea stall owners claim that this is the first experiment of Tandoori Chai in Rajasthan. For this, the mud kulhad (मिट्टी का कुल्हड़) is baked in furnace for one entire day. When it gets red hot, five varieties of spices (garam masalas) are put in this kulhad and later tea is served in this kulhad kept in a big vessel. Tandoori chai has become a craze among Udaipur public.

As per the promoters of this food bazaar, hygiene has been well maintained and every dish is prepared in RO water. The food bazaar also has kids zone where children can have fun while playing and eating. A kitty party area is also on the agenda and will soon be finalised.

The Khau Gali bazaar opens from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. People can also enjoy a variety of music and there is a provision of live band twice a week. On-demand music facility is also provided.
