The summer months have arrived, which is the season when people prefer to have cold beverages. Every season, several typical juices are readily available. The summer season makes the eternal and most energizing Sugarcane Juice (Ganne ka Ras) a treat to consume. The most popular juice in India is sugarcane juice, which offers a variety of benefits. This post introduces our readers to a juice centre, which has been running since 1966 and is famous for its sugarcane juice (ganne ka ras) in the lake city, Udaipur. Vidyarthi serves Ganne ka Ras all year long.
Vidyarthi Ras Bhandar, which is situated at Delhi Gate near Shakti Nagar offers high-quality sugarcane juice. The store is known for the flavour and is often crowded during the summers. In a converstion with UdaipurTimes, Durgesh Kumawat, the owner took us through the journey of Vidyarthi Ras Bhandar. It was Durgesh's father, Bhaverlal Kumawat, who set up this shop in 1966.
Durgesh said that his father Bhaverlal set up a sugarcane juice shop while he was in school. He used to attend school at Vidya Bhawan in Udaipur and also run this shop. It was the Principal of the school, who suggested this name for the stall.
Durgesh Kumawat - Owner
The workers here, according to Durgesh Kumawat, are all the old staff. The staff has been serving juice at this shop for 20 to 25 years now. He went on to say that they always tried to improve the juice's quality, as for them, keeping their consumers pleased made them satisfied.
In the next three years, Durgesh Kumawat plans to modernize the equipment and make this business fully air-conditioned. Quality will always come first, he said, and extra attention will also be paid to hygiene at the same time.
This cold, sweet, and refreshing beverage is fat-free, helps with a variety of skin issues, prevents illnesses brought on by the heat, etc. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of upcoming heatwaves in India, therefore you should also put this beverage on your diet list.
