Whenever I hanged out with my friends in quest of trying out some new dish, Pizza never came in my fascination as for it’s a commonly prepared dish every corner. However to experience the new taste of “expected better pizzas” we tried U.S.Pizza.

U.S.Pizza in Udaipur is on first Floor situated at Gulab Bagh Road. Its interior is soothing with large windows facing roadside. We sat on sofa at the side of window as I enjoy watching the outer view while eating.

After getting menu card, we spent about 20 minutes in deciding what to order as every listed dish was appearing to grab upon instantly. Holding our greed to taste every dish, we ordered at last “Meal for two”. Meal for two is complete wrap up to have dinner comprising of two glasses of soft drinks, 1 portion of garlic bread, one medium size veg. pizza and two slices of brownie. This tempting feast was unable to satisfy my greed, which compelled me to order one more pizza and a brownie with ice cream.

The order was as follows:

1. Garlic Bread
2. Madurai Hot Pizza
3. Jalandhar Tandoori Paneer Pizza
4. Brownie
5. Brownie with Ice Cream

Garlic Bread Garlic bread with soft drinks was a happy snack to start with. The soft bread baked with garlic and butter mixture was covered with hot, shiny cheese, which made it tempting. In one portion of Garlic Bread, four small pieces were served.

Madurai Hot Pizza

It looked tempting with mellow appearance. This deep pan pizza had crusty dough base with toppings of baby corn, green pepper, crushed pepper and tomatoes.  Surprisingly, it was not much spicy even after lot of pepper flakes. It tasted good due to its fresh Mozzarella cheese and hot toppings. The pizza was served in a hot pan with wooden base below to keep it hot until the last bite.

Jalandhar Tandoori Paneer Pizza

After having low spicy Madurai Hot Pizza, we ordered Jalandhar Tandoori Pizza, which was perfect blend of original Italian style with Punjabi Indian taste. Punjabi flavor is always hot and spicy and as per our expectation, this pizza looked quite tangy with toppings of onion, green pepper, tomato and paneer crumbs. The floating toppings over the fresh Mozzarella cheese made it tempting and appetizing.

I tried seasonings over my pizza, which is a mixture of garlic powder, pepper, oregano, onion flakes, lemon peel and ginger; leading to an incredible flavor.

Brownie

Brownies as per our “meal for two” were perfect as dessert.  This hot piece of chocolate bread endowed with dry fruits with steaming hot chocolate pouring all over was quite aromatic and lip smacking. Two small pieces of Brownie seemed insufficient to satisfy this chocolaty experience. Therefore, we ordered Brownie with ice cream.

Brownie with Ice Cream It was larger piece of Brownie with one whole scoop of Vanilla flavored ice cream giving it a luscious look. This mixture of hot and cold dessert was just right to end our exploration at U.S. Pizza.

U.S.Pizza, is very satisfying experience that I added in my diary of restaurants I have tried in Udaipur, especially seeking good Pizza serving bistros. In lack of various famous brands like Pizza Hut and Dominos; U.S.Pizza is filling the gap by varied range of Pizzas with modified Indian taste. Now I can happily say “I love Pizzas”!!
