UdaipurTimes.com. To start it off, yesterday we went to have ice-cream at one of the popular joint which serves their own factory made ice-creams. If you are from Udaipur, I am sure you must have heard of Gujarat Ice-cream or New Gujarat ice-cream(One is at DelhiGate and other is at Suraj Pole) My wife and kid both are crazy for ice-cream and because of them I too started having it. Though, our one favorite ice-cream parlor is Utsav, they also serves their own brand Utsav Icre-cream but Gujarat is more popular than Utsav. Ok so what we had yesterday? We tried 3 different flavored ice creams in New Gujarat

1. American Nuts
2. Kesar Pista
3. Badam Anjeer

Before giving my review on the above three ice-creams we had, let me tell you that the quantity of ice-creams was really not that superior in comparison to its price. American Nuts cost rs 15/-: Seriously, I didn’t like it. It was creamier but with fewer nuts. The taste was fine but not as it sounds “AMERICAN NUTS”. With that very first scoop went into my mouth I felt a buzz on my teeth, I was expecting something nutty to come in between to chew but I was bit disappointed by it.

Kesar Pista cost rs 25/-: It means Saffron and Pistachio. I guess they don’t put real kesar(saffron) in it, nor there was more than 3 pieces of pista (pistachio) in it. But still the taste was fine and the fragrance of saffron was really soothing. But that was again not my choice.

Badam Anjeer- cost rs25/– : Till now, you must have figured out that how much my family loves dry fruit ice-creams. I find Badam Anjeer best from above two. It tastes real and the proportion of dry fruits and cream was appropriate. The pieces of anjeer(figs) covered with cream and badam (almond) was something which I can really give 5 stars. All over we faced the damage of 65Rs/- and that was not that unaffordable, the parlor have cozy ambience with colored wall and a big air-cooler to give some relief from the chilling hot. Address:
