Ancient temples, Jagdish Mandir and Asthal Mandir were crowded with long queues of devotees waiting eagerly to have a look of the Nath-Khat Kanha. Like every year, the most exciting event was "Matki Fod" at Jagdish Chowk.

The festival of Janmasthami was celebrated with extreme joy and happiness in the City of Lakes, Udaipur. Ancient temples, Jagdish Mandir and Asthal Mandir were crowded with long queues of devotees waiting eagerly to have a look of the Nath-Khat Kanha.

Like every year, the most exciting event was “Matki Fod” at Jagdish Chowk. This year, Makti was tied at a height of 25ft. Even after four rounds it remained untouched which added to the excitement of viewers and participants. All the teams tried their best to win the event. Finally, the Matki was lowered to 24ft. and the event was won by Gadhiya Devra Samiti. Here are some exclusive photographs of today’s celebration. Have a look and enjoy.
