Today happens to be Father’s Day. Proud moments for fathers and children, both, this day gives a chance to people to express their love more openly letting the world know about the good fortune that stays with them in the form of FATHER.

FATHER as expressed by Sonia Keshwani

“The word “Papa” is the closest one to our heart. Be it for the lessons he gave us in life, be it for the love he showered on us. Our father Mohan Keshwani is our ideal who brought us up in such ways that we four sisters are leading happy lives, both personal and professional.”

Sonia adds proudly that her mother Gauri Keshwani and her father never ever made them feel that they were daughters and brought them up like any family does for a son. “We were made to move ahead in different areas of life like education, sports and even social work as per our choice and we got full support and encouragement of our parents. They educated us to the level of post-graduation. Playing the roles of friend, guide and Guru, they made us good human beings by imbibing cultural values in us. The roots of their love and support are so deep that we can never ever repay what they have done for us.” After the demise of mother Gauri, father Mohan Keshwani played the role of mother as well. The four sisters did not feel the absence of mother due to the love that their father bestowed upon them.

Obviously father Mohan Keshwani must have been pained by the loss of his wife, he never ever let the daughters feel her absence, and such has been his dedication for the family. He never lost his strength and never gave up hope which became another lesson for his daughters. He filled up his daughters with a never ending hope that makes them all survive through life’s struggles with love and laughter. Sonia lives with her father. Her sisters Anju, Indu and Pinki are well settled in their married lives. Mohan Keshwani has proved to be a pillar of strength for the daughters and a lesson for lifetime that life is to be lived with hope and strength and one should never give up.

Hats off to such a fantastic father “Mohan Keshwani”.
