It was an interesting day to witness to the battle of kites for the first time in beautiful Lakecity. On the second day of International Kite Festival 2011 various competitions were organized for the participants. These competitions were divided into four different categories: Warrior of The Skye, Beautiful Art, Small Wonder [Miniature Kites] and Unique Shape Kites. Further there were two sub categories: Indian and Foreign. Results will be announced during tomorrow’s prize distribution and closing ceremony. Hyedarabad Team’s K. Shrinivasan handled abiyt 250 kites on a single thread and grabbed the attention of crowd. France Team’s longest Crocodile Kite, about 30 meters long, remained the topic of discussion among Udaipurites. In short the second day of International Kite Festival at the city of lakes was a complete surprise package for everyone. Here are some Videos of today’s event.
