Power of Nature has permitted the City of Lakes to yet again fulfill the strong desire of its residents and welcome the tourist season with all its flowing streams, nullahs, bountiful gardens and the green mountains of the Aravali range whose most beautiful valley is Udaipur. Apart from the city centric lakes of Pichola, Swarop Sagar and Fatehsagar, the nearby source Talaabs viz. Sisaarma, Nandeshwar, Alsigarh etc are also in full flow.  The quick stream sourced from Alsigarh, via Rayta Village on its way to Nandeshwar, Sisaarma and finally culminating into Fatehsagar via Pichola is in full flow.

So are the mountains around the region, viz. Pipliya near Ubeshwar, the Raayta Village range, making them a trekkers dream destination during any part of the day, be it an early morning trek or later in the afternoon, as the weather is pleasant all day long.

This season makes it desirable for nature lovers, both from within the city and outside to explore the lesser touched and virgin areas upcountry.

Udaipur is still waiting for the Fatehsagar gates to open, a festive day for the city.  Both Madar Talaabs being in ebullience, the wait for Fatehsagar to reach the brim is not going to be long this time around.
