The level of happiness, level of ecstasy, level of joy, level of madness, level of fulfillment, level of desires, level of bonding, level of uniqueness, level of “Fatehsagar” has reached to its pinnacle. Fatehsagar Lake having three intake channels and an overflow channel reached to its top level and overflowed in midst of cheers and bliss. And now, the length of 2.4 km, width of 1.6 km and depth of 13 feet encircles every feeling within it at that particular moment.

Between dozens of flashes capturing this undefined beauty, lake was prancing on its own splendor and charm. It was the most awaited moment for every Udaipurite after the year 2006, especially for those who reside out of Udaipur and miss their city too much. For them, news of Fatehsagar overflow might be a reason to celebrate breaching the chain of daily routine.

Water in lakes hold breathe of every heart in Udaipur; everyone forgets their pain, daily petty issues of life, and emotional complications just by losing senses in glimpse of waves taking over every sting by its every inch. This season, everyday turned out to be a new reason to smile, may it be love of rain, adoration of greenery, paintings of cloud or compelling blue passion of lakes.

Sight around Fatehsagar reminds me of Ideal India structured in thoughts of BAPU, where everyone is standing together beyond any discrimination of caste, creed or color, rejoicing as one with ties of belongingness .  Thanks to our lakes, at least they did it!!
