It was a heart-throbbing Cricket World Cup final match between Indian and Sri Lanka. Team India made a good start by restricting the Sri Lankan Players from scoring in early overs. But, then some good partnerships led the Sri Lankan team to a good score of 274 runs.

India lost two main players Sehwag and Sachin at early stage and match once seemed to slip away. But, there was more of fun and excitement left. Superb performances by Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohali and MS Dhoni led Team India to Victory.

After 28 years of wait, the Cricket World Cup was here and Udaipurites came out on the roads for celebrating this victory. Youngsters, families and children, almost everyone gathered at Suraj Pole, Delhi Gate and Bapu Bazar to celebrate these wonderful moments of joy.
